Faith
Chi Rho is a part of the Catholic Student Center at St. Elizabeth's Parish. Our faith-based work is done either in conjunction with the church or privately as a small group.
The brothers of Chi Rho believe that faith in God is a vital and dynamic force that guides men morally by providing basic principles to follow in everyday life. We also attend mass Bi-Monthly as a group as a minimum to help boost brotherhood and faith within our organization.
Our religious events include: Rosaries, bible studies, serving as Eucharist ministers, serving as Altar servers, attending mass as a group, attending adoration as a group, and so much more.
Service
As one of three pillars of Chi Rho, service is essential to our growth as an organization. We take pride in the activities
and organizations we volunteer with at both Texas Tech University and around the Lubbock community.
Our service chair Katie is working hard in planning an exciting and busy Fall 2010 semester!
Many of our services are open to the public, meaning you do not have to be a member of Chi Rho to participe! If you see a service that interests you please contact us one week prior so that we can make plans for you to serve with us!
Brotherhood
Chi Rho recognizes unity, through brotherhood, as a vital factor in better serving our community as well as helping each other to grow in faith.
In order to further our unity as a group and as Christians in general, Chi Rho participates in and hosts events that help to strengthen our bond as brothers.
Some of of our social events include: Luau, Winter Bash, Big Bro/Little Bro Night, Brotherhood Bowling, Dinners, Barndance, Goat Roast, Chi Rho Birthday, Intramural Sports, and much more.
